I was nervous this wreath wouldn’t hold up outdoors, but two coats of clear poly later… it’s survived rain, wind, and still looks great.

Also, everything is 25% off at Michaels right now 👀

I have to give credit to my friend Erin @everythin I have to give credit to my friend Erin @everythingerin for this—she “edited” her kitchen and it’s SO beautiful. I just love this word, because maybe instead of rushing everything (which, quite frankly I would have been doing had I chosen to replace these planters), it should be about editing what’s already there… even the smallest things.

Maybe I'll keep my eye out for something vintage, or a different shape, or color. Or maybe not. For now, I'm thrilled with how this curb appeal has come together.

I used @benjaminmoore low lustre black outdoor paint, swapped the bricks that were holding these up for pot feet risers, and made one more small front door change—replacing the brass kick plate (which is surprisingly easy).

Proof that a good edit can shift everything 🤍

Comment SHOP and I’ll send you all the details on the pot risers and a few similar options to these planters.

Joa’s White by Farrow & Ball has this soft depth to it that keeps it from feeling stark or cold. It’s calm, lived-in, and just really easy to be around. The kind of white that makes a room feel like a warm hug 🤍

I'm plugging away through this office makeover, and, like most of my projects, it's moving slowly. Good things take time, stay tuned!
