I used to have a little black-and-white TV in our I used to have a little black-and-white TV in our kitchen when I was a teenager, and I watched MTV’s The Grind whenever I could in the mornings before school. So maybe that’s why there’s something especially nostalgic to me about watching an old favorite on a tiny kitchen screen.

And yes, all of these are teenager-approved. We actually watched Mona Lisa Smile last night. 🤎

Which one is your favorite? Or tell me the cozy movie you’d add to the list.

I love dried hydrangeas and this is my favorite wa I love dried hydrangeas and this is my favorite way to style them; turning them into a wreath for the front door. I love that it’s seasonal without feeling overly “decorated”. It is SO easy to make too; literally just push the stems through the grapevine.

I linked everything I used to make the wreath, including some REAL hydrangeas you can order online if you don’t have a backyard supply (thank you Etsy!), plus all of the other fall decor on our front door.

Comment FALL and I’ll send you everything.

And yes, that is Tresemme hairspray I use to seal everything!
Still plugging away on this IKEA PAX hack, and I r Still plugging away on this IKEA PAX hack, and I really believe trim is one of the easiest ways to make basic furniture feel completely custom.

I’ve added molding to everything from dressers to benches over the years, and it’s amazing what a few little pieces of trim can do. It completely elevated this PAX project and made the whole thing feel so much more built-in.

I have a mini tutorial saved to my Highlights if you want to see exactly how I did it.

Comment TRIM and I’ll send you links to all the supplies I used. And the best part? No power tools needed for this one.

Naturally, finishing this has spiraled into painting the baseboards, ceiling and windows too.

Six years ago, we bought this beach cottage, and w Six years ago, we bought this beach cottage, and we’ve been making it ours little by little ever since.

It’s never been an overnight makeover, just one room, one project, and one improvement at a time. And if you’ve been here for a while, you know my projects move VERY slowly (see: my most recent closet DIY 😂), so there’s still plenty left on the list.

But this latest refresh from Ginny Macdonald with @luluandgeorgia might be one of my favorites yet. A few beautiful new pieces mixed with things we already had, and suddenly this little corner feels completely different.
A good reminder that a home doesn’t have to be finished all at once. Some of the best spaces take years to come together and I think that’s part of the fun.

I’m linking all of the Lulu and Georgia pieces in my Stories if you want to take a closer look. PS…they’re on sale.

I’ll be honest, I can’t even remember where I picked up this old bowl, but it’s been sitting in storage for a few years and I’m so happy to give it another chance to shine. Perfect Sunday activity.

I use Wright's Silver Polish for all these types of projects; it's really the best!
